I’m typically not one to write reviews, but Mimi & Andres place is definitely a place to stay in New York! The moment we arrived, Mimi greeted us at the door with a warm smile, making sure everything we needed to know about the Airbnb was mentioned to us. We were a large group, so finding an airbnb close to the city like Mimi’s was already a win in our books. But having great hospitality made it much more better. The space is definitely big enough for 6+ people. Very clean and had everything you needed. I know it’s been mentioned about the subway noise, but honestly it wasn’t too bad, and my group didn’t mind it at all. Location is the shining star for this review, being so close to the subway, but more importantly, having plenty of restaurants and shops to explore. My group comprised of couples and small families, so it was nice to venture off to see and eat at the local shops. Definitely didn’t feel like we were tourists. Overall, 10/10 highly recommend! :)

We liked this place a lot. The subway station was very close so we could easily get access to Manhattan. We had a conference in Hilton Midtown and it took less than 30 minutes from door to door. The co-host Ricardo was responsive and attentive. I would definitely stay here again when visiting New York.

la zona es genial encuentras todo a los alrededores, el acces al metro está a media cuadra y te deja en manhatan, los anfitriones tienen excelente atención, sin duda volvería. fueron muy amables y me permitieron guardar las maletas después del chel out. la casa está super bonita y cómoda tiene todo lo necesario y la ubicación es genial y la decoración es muy bonita.... me encanto todo en general. a pesar de que el metro pasa frente a la casa no se escucha tanto y si facilita mucho moverte al centro de la ciudad.

Mimi & Andre's home was nice and very accommodating for my family. We were a large group visiting NYC for my daughter's wedding. The co-host Ricardo was prompt to answer questions, very pleasant and polite. The home was very clean with spacious bedrooms, and spacious living areas. The home was fully equipped with all the basic necessities. The kitchen was over stocked with seasonings, paper plates, lots of cookware, and a nice size washer/dryer. We only purchased food to cook during our stay, everything else needed, they already had. Free parking in the yard and in the garage for compact vehicles, was a big bonus. The location was perfect with local restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, fruit markets, gyms, banks, drug stores, urgent care, daycare, bars, etc., everything was within walking distance. If you want to go sight seeing, the train is literally in front the home. Astoria is a family oriented environment, meeting all your needs. Overall, our stay was absolutely wonderful!

For a family of 9 it’s never easy to find a place big enough for all of us. This home was exactly what we needed to feel at home and super peaceful when having a long productive day. Our entire stay was super humid! 90% humid so the fact that it has mini splits and floor fans omg it was a life saver! The water pressure is the MAX 🙌🙏🏻 Dollar tree right next door helped a lot! The food around the area was amazing!! Better than Time Square or anywhere else we have been to that’s for sure. Ricardo was super helpful with anything we needed THANK YOU RICARDO. For a first stay in NYC I recommend this place 100% super safe! 🙏🏻

We were a fairly large, mixed group of family members. Mini and Andres’ place was perfect for having our own spaces while staying in Queens. The location was excellent, being steps from the subway station and feet from amazing food choices! The hosts were very accommodating and helped us with having a place for us to park our car. Thank you so much for opening your place to us!

We loved our stay! Home is in a fantastic location. There are lots and lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The subway is VERY close. You can get anywhere in the city from here very easily. I took my wife and 5 kids. We had plenty of space and always felt safe. The subway is literally right outside the door but after the first day you won't notice it. I'd recommend this place to anyone!! When we go back to NYC we will stay here again! Great experience all the way around!!

Mimi and Ricardo were amazing!! Always responsive. Place is a minute walk from Broadway station. Has good connectivity to all places you would want to connect to visit. Highly recommend this place!!

If you are looking for a home away from home in Queens New York City, look no further. This place is GREAT ! Cosy and within 5 minutes walking from Broadway 31st Street Queens stop of the N and W subway lines. The subway actually runs past the house but the “rumbling” is very soothing when it passes (if you should mind it, there are earplugs supplied). The restaurants in the neighbourhood are so wonderful too: King Souvlaki truck at the corner, the Bel Aire Diner, Aliada Greek restaurant,… We will for sure be coming here again

This was perfect for our needs! The two different living areas were great for travel with kids, there was plenty of space for our party of 6, and tons of great little restaurants. Hosts were very responsive and communicated quickly. Also the garage is a great feature! It was a tight squeeze, but we WERE able to fit a Honda Odyssey inside and while it would have been a tight fit to get it in and out, we parked it once and took public transit for our trip. There is a train station just down the street, and while the train is elevated the fans in the unit kept the noise level manageable and we didn’t really notice them. It was a quick ride into midtown, so perfect for sightseeing. Would definitely stay again!
