Each floor can fit 6 people maximum, and is suitable for business travelers, solo adventurers, couples, and is ideal for families with kids.

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION: Our insurance policy requires each guest send us photo ID in-order to proceed with check-in. 4). BACKGROUND CHECK: Background checks will be conducted on guests. 5). LOCKS: Guests are responsible for locking doors. If there is a problem with a lock, you must contact us and wait for us to resolve it, it is not acceptable to bring a third party to resolve it. 6). VISITORS: Outside visitors not allowed.

Neighborhood

We are between two of the best neighborhoods in the city - posh and luxurious Long Island City and the hip-young and family-friendly Astoria. Long Island City is truly fantastic and has amazing views of the Manhattan Skyline from the Eleventh Street Basin. Astoria is the new young fun place, that is very family-oriented as well. Since it is traditionally Greek, you seriously will not find better Mediterranean food than in this area. Check-out the nearby Socrates Park for amazing views, and Bohemian Beer Hall for a family-festive beer experience.

I’m typically not one to write reviews, but Mimi & Andres place is definitely a place to stay in New York! The moment we arrived, Mimi greeted us at the door with a warm smile, making sure everything we needed to know about the Airbnb was mentioned to us. We were a large group, so finding an airbnb close to the city like Mimi’s was already a win in our books. But having great hospitality made it much more better. The space is definitely big enough for 6+ people. Very clean and had everything you needed. I know it’s been mentioned about the subway noise, but honestly it wasn’t too bad, and my group didn’t mind it at all. Location is the shining star for this review, being so close to the subway, but more importantly, having plenty of restaurants and shops to explore. My group comprised of couples and small families, so it was nice to venture off to see and eat at the local shops. Definitely didn’t feel like we were tourists. Overall, 10/10 highly recommend! :)

We liked this place a lot. The subway station was very close so we could easily get access to Manhattan. We had a conference in Hilton Midtown and it took less than 30 minutes from door to door. The co-host Ricardo was responsive and attentive. I would definitely stay here again when visiting New York.

A 1 minute walk to the "Broadway" station of the N & W subway lines. Alternatively, you can rent a car and park it on the street or inside our garage.
